I changed the position of the flowers, added lines to the trees, changed the eyes, eyebrows, mouth, part of headband, horns and feet, and also changed her hand. Her face looks angry/sad, the confuzzled kind of sad, something that portrays her mood. SO I kept changing it until I felt satisfied enough to upload. I'm still not totally satisfied with her face, especially her eyes, in close up she looks okay, but not in total view... Maybe I'll keep working on it, but now I already wasted enough hours bu changing everything at the last moment .

This here is Pandora, a mountain creature. Her race is unknown by many, but they call themselves ‘The Nivali’. The lifetree was a try on symbolism. Lifetrees are trees that store the essence of memories and dreams (the orbs). A lifetree gets smaller/bigger depending on the lifespan of the person. The lifetrees in the story don't look like this at all, and they can't sit in it, I just tried something new. Lifetrees contain nightmares/dreams and good/bad memories. Most people don't know where their own tree grows.

Pandora is a guide on the trecherous mountain trails. High up in the mountains there is a village, where she and her kind live. There are many hidden villages, but only the nivali themselves now how to find and reach it. She guides elders from her village to important meetings in their capital city. That makes her the most important person in her town. Every town has several guides, but she is the leading guide. Her parents dissapeared when she was very young, during the outbreak of a small war, that was led by archangels. Not much is known about her or her past. She is a very quiet and timid person, but you would not want to run into her if you aren’t a nivali. Lost travelers will find a certain doom when they decide to trust and follow her... She can be as untrustfull as the mountainpaths themselves...

Pandora doesn’t fight. She hates war, she hates sadness, and because of that she decided to become a guide. A guide isn’t dependent of anyone, they live alone. She does not bond, and she has no friends. (But that will change) Her kind are magic users, so she is able to defend herself through magic (nature magic= when one calls on nature instead of complicated alchemy or lyrics or chants) She kan attack fast and swiftly, and she is very good in disappearing (or stealth?) Pandora also carries around a great burden, a secret, but no one knows exactly what it is... Even her own kind think of her as a mystical women.

Lannie meets Pandora later on in the story. There is a moment when Lannie, La-ela and Alexander get seperated, and when that happens Lannie will look for Pandora in the mountains because she needs to speak to her town elder (for a reason that will not be told yet) Lannie and Pandora will become like sisters (also for a reason that will not be told yet) and they will have to fight to survive at a certain point. (this is a bit later in the story, but not that late) Pandora will teach Lannie eart magic, and Lannie, to repay Pandora, will teach her Archery. Pandora will learn that this might come in handy in uncertain situations when her magic can’t be used. Lannie also understands Pandora’s way of living. Together they decide to help each other, but that goes against the rules of The Nivali, and that might become troublesome...

The little white critters are Frost Dragons. They carry around little lanterns to light Pandora’s way inside huge caverns with endless sealings. The dragons are blind (dark eyed) and very white because there is no light inside the cavers. When they are young The Nivali hunt them and train them for several years. The hunt isn’t very easy, the little critters can hide in every crack or behing every rock. Their weak point is their immobility when they are young, they can not fly the very first years because their wings are too small. When a Nivali wants to become a Guide, they must prove themselves by catching their very first Frost Dragon on their own. When they did that, they have to find their way to one of the most dangerous mountain tops, up and back again, also on their own. When they make it back alive, they become a guide. Pandora got her scar (over her nose) during that trial.

Pandora’s tree is very twisty, all branches split up in two because Pandora can be very nice, or very mean (double personality) More info about her and her race will follow when I start Black Lotus (my story).

(The story is much more complicated like that... it still sounds all fuzzy ... I'll write it down completely when I have some decent character description of all persons/characters. I wrote the story some years ago btw . Like in MANY years ago.)
